Sale-A-Bration

It's that wonderful time of year that we can get free Stampin' Up! products! For every $50 purchased you can select a free product from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. And when you host a workshop with sales reaching $300 you will get a Sale-A-Bration product along with the generous hostess benefits!

If you would like to book a workshop during the Sale-A-Bration sales period, February 1 - March 17, 2008, call or email me ASAP as my calendar is already getting full!

You should be receiving your brochure in the mail, if you don't have copy by February 1st, let me know and I will send one out to you.

My phrase

Okay ya'll know that I have a favorite saying at my workshops and so I am going to place a trademark on the phrase until I can see if it can be patented. Here is the phrase that I truly believe in:

"Every mistake is an opportunity for creativity." T.M.

Every time you are making a card, scrapbook page, or other paper craft item and think you have really goofed it up, take a second look at it and say to yourself "how can I turn this into something that I really like". Then start looking for a way to change, cover, or completely re-do your project until you are satisfied with it. Many of my works over the years have ended up in the trash, but I don't give up until I have what I want. However, most of my projects just keep getting changed around until I am satisfied, so keep perusing your goals...you'll be happy with the results. :)

Sneak Peek

Here is one of the cards we will be making at tomorrow's class. If you missed the deadline for this class, plan to attend the next one March 15. Registration of $25 is due by March 1st.

The scan didn't turn out so well...the colors are really off. The card base is Blue Bayou, and the cowboy is stamped using the "split image" technique in Basic Brown and River Rock. Be sure to see this card in person at upcoming events.
